Job summary

JCPenney is seeking an Operations Associate to deliver outstanding customer experiences through in-store operations. This early-morning role supports the team and executes pre-opening tasks to get the store ready.

Responsibilities include assisting customers, updating pricing, restocking, unloading merchandise, maintaining backroom standards, and contributing to omnichannel efforts. Previous retail experience is preferred and benefits apply.

Qualifications

• 1–2 years of retail experience.
• Ability to manage pricing on merchandise.
• Able to unload merch and restock to floor.

Responsibilities

• Customer Service - assist customers and provide information.
• Executes pricing and signing to update merchandise pricing.
• Replenish and restock to keep shelves full and appealing.
• Receive and unload merchandise and prepare backroom stock.
• Maintain backroom standards: safe, clean, organized.
• Contribute to omnichannel efforts (BOPIS, ship from store, returns).
• Execute merchandising plans to place products across the store.
• Participate in a learning environment with peers and training materials.
