Job summary

Kohl's is seeking a role focused on keeping the store safe, clean, and inviting for customers in Illinois. You will perform daily cleaning tasks, manage supplies and training, and assist with stockroom operations and omni-channel fulfillment as needed.

Applicants should be flexible for early morning shifts starting around 6am and demonstrate strong customer-service skills. Physical ability to lift up to 50 lbs and operate safety equipment is required.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• No retail experience required.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas of the store following Kohl's best practices and standards procedures.
• Utilize only approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
• Maintain levels of chemicals and supplies by placing orders when low.
• Complete and maintain required training for chemical, equipment, and maintenance.
• Routinely complete basic equipment maintenance following company guidelines.
• Effectively use Kohl's tools and technology to plan, communicate and share information with the store team.
• Support the operations team to receive and process product, stockroom operations and omni channel fulfillment.
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Perform accountabilities listed in the What You'll Do section.
• Complete company training programs.
• Comply with dress code requirements.
• Basic math and reading skills, legible handwriting, and basic computer operation.
• Operate handheld scanners and other technology as directed.
• Maintain prompt and regular attendance and meet scheduling requirements.
• Wear personal protective equipment.
• Withstand exposure to varying temperatures and other elements.
• Perform duties in line with the Physical Requirements.
• Ability to perform stockroom operations and truck unloading as needed.
