Job summary

Kohl's in Glenview is seeking an Early Morning Associate to keep the store safe and clean while delivering an excellent customer experience. You will perform daily cleaning tasks across all areas, follow Kohl's standards, and support operations with stockroom activities and omni-channel fulfillment when needed.

Starting at 6am, you will greet customers, assist with product questions, and ensure supplies are tracked and stored properly.

Qualifications

• Excellent customer service skills and ability to multi-task with strong attention to detail.
• Verbal/written communication and interpersonal skills.
• Must be 18 years of age or older.
• Flexible availability, including days, nights, weekends, and holidays.

Responsibilities

• Clean all areas of the store (floors, windows, restrooms, trash receptacles) following Kohl's standards.
• Utilize only approved chemicals, supplies, and equipment to ensure a safe environment.
• Maintain levels of supplies by replenishing when low and rotate/store chemicals properly.
• Complete and maintain required training for chemical, equipment, and maintenance.
• Routinely perform basic equipment maintenance following guidelines.
• Use Kohl's tools and technology to plan and communicate with the store team.
• Support operations to receive and process product and execute stockroom duties.
• Assist with omni-channel fulfillment when needed.
• Engage customers by greeting them and offering assistance with products and services.
• Act with integrity and foster teamwork in an inclusive culture.
• Exercise good judgment and escalate when needed.
• Demonstrate a customer service mindset and resolve issues promptly.
• Meet or exceed individual goals (productivity, loyalty, etc.).
• Accomplish multiple tasks within established timeframes.
• Follow company policies, procedures and safety guidelines.
• Respond to direction from supervisors and other personnel.
• Other responsibilities as assigned.
