Job summary

Trolley House Refreshments, the Convenience Services division of Trolley Hospitality Companies, seeks a morning-focused food prep worker in Richmond, VA. You will prep ingredients, assemble salads and sandwiches, package items for retail, and maintain clean, organized work areas in a fast-paced kitchen.

New team members should bring basic kitchen knowledge, 1–2 years of prep experience, neat appearance, and the ability to lift up to 50 pounds while standing for long periods.

Qualifications

• Basic knowledge of kitchen language.
• 1-2 Years of Food Prep Experience would be nice.
• Neat and professional appearance.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods of time.
• Conversational Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Prep ingredients by washing, chopping, cutting, grinding, weighing, and mixing.
• Assemble salads, sandwiches, sides and desserts and package them for retail sale.
• Organize packaged food items and place in staging area for drivers to pick up and deliver.
• Clean, set up, and break down kitchen equipment, appliances, and work areas to ensure cleanliness and functionality.
• Cover, label, and date all food products, and follow all food safety rules for proper storage.
• Available to work early mornings Sunday- Wednesday 6:00AM-2:PM & Thursday 5:00AM-1:00PM
