Job summary

Trolley House Refreshments, the Convenience Services Division of Trolley Hospitality Companies in Richmond, VA, is seeking a full-time kitchen prep team member for Saturday to Wednesday from 6:00 AM to 2:00 PM. You’ll help with daily food preparation, portioning, labeling, and keeping a clean, safe workspace.

Ideal candidates bring 2+ years of food prep experience, can lift up to 50 pounds, and are morning people who value efficiency and teamwork.

Qualifications

Basic knowledge of kitchen language and procedures.
2+ years of food prep experience preferred.
Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds and stay on your feet for long periods.

Responsibilities

Available to work early mornings: Saturday - Wednesday 6:00AM-2:00PM.
Execute daily food preparation, including chopping, portioning, weighing, mixing, and cooking according to recipes.
Support kitchen operations, workflows, and daily production priorities.
Ensure proper labeling, dating, storage, and rotation of food per safety rules.
Set up, operate, clean, and maintain kitchen equipment and stations for efficiency.
Assist with training and supporting other kitchen team members.
