Job summary

Michaels - Cedar Hill, TX store is hiring a team member to help customers, locate products, and ensure a fast, friendly checkout experience. You will unload trucks, stock shelves, and maintain a well-merchandised, in-stock store.

The role involves engaging customers in rewards programs, assisting with BOPIS/SFS, and upholding SOPs, safety, and attendance requirements; weekend/evening shifts are possible.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Able to stand for long periods and lift repeatedly.
• Comfortable with merchandising and shelving.

Responsibilities

• Help customers shop, locate products, and provide solutions.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; cash handling to standards.
• Engage customers on rewards and credit card programs and enrollments.
• Educate customers on VOC survey and store programs.
• Assist with Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS).
• Participate in truck unloading, stocking, and planogram processes.
• Maintain in-stock condition and merchandise recovery; handle returns/go backs.
• Perform Store In Stock Optimization (SISO) and AD set duties as assigned.
• Support shrink and safety programs; adhere to SOPs and policies.
• Interact professionally; promote company values and be a role model.
• Cross trained in custom framing selling and production.
