Job summary

The Michaels Companies in Flower Mound, TX is hiring for a store associate to deliver friendly customer service, help shoppers locate products, and ensure a fast checkout experience. You will participate in truck unloading, stocking, and maintaining in-store presentation while supporting omnichannel efforts like BOPIS and SFS.

Ideal candidates have retail or customer service experience, are at least 16 years old, and comfortable working nights, weekends and early mornings.

Qualifications

• Retail or customer service experience preferred.
• Michaels requires all team members in this role to be at least sixteen (16) years or older.

Responsibilities

• Deliver friendly customer service, help customers shop our store, and find what they're looking for.
• Provide a fast and friendly checkout experience; execute cash handling to standards
• Engage customers on the benefits of the Rewards program and Private Label Credit Cards and complete enrollments
• Assist with Omni channel processes, including Buy Online Pickup in Store (BOPIS) and Ship From Store (SFS)
• Participate in the truck unload, stocking, and planogram (POGs) processes
• Support shrink and safety programs
• Adhere to SOPs and Company policies to ensure compliance with laws and requirements
