Job summary

TC Restaurant Group is seeking a Prep Cook to assemble ingredients and stations for service, while keeping the kitchen clean and sanitized. The role emphasizes punctuality, teamwork, and adherence to safety protocols within a fast-paced environment.

Responsibilities include preparing food to specifications, restocking, and assisting the kitchen team. Must be able to work nights, weekends, and holidays with the ability to lift up to 50 pounds and stand for long periods.

Qualifications

• Experience as pantry, prep, or line cook in a fast-paced, high-volume restaurant preferred.
• Experience with fresh products preferred.
• Must be able to lift at least 50 pounds and stand for up to 8 hours.
• English reading/comprehension; able to read recipes and instructions in English.

Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, stations, and all items needed for service.
• Maintain sanitation, cleanliness, and food safety across work areas.
• Rotate stock and ensure FIFO to prevent waste.
• Assist other kitchen staff and execute closing duties as directed.
