Qualifications

• One year of floor care experience preferred.
• Ability to lift up to 49 pounds.
• Read and interpret safety documents in English (may include Spanish where state requirements apply).

Responsibilities

• Perform spot removal, extraction, bonnet cleaning, strip/wax, scrub/recoat, seal/grout as assigned.
• Scrub, shine, clean and repair carpeted and non-carpeted areas with appropriate equipment and chemicals.
• Clean floors and stairways by sweeping, mopping, and vacuuming.
• Move large furniture and objects when necessary; follow safety guidelines to prevent injuries.
• Keep janitor closet neat, clean, and organized; report repairs or hazards to supervisor.
