Job summary

US Foods Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Dispatcher to coordinate driver assignments and ensure reliable distribution service for customers. The role requires attention to detail, communication, and basic computer skills, with a starting hourly pay range of $23-$26.

The position runs Tuesday through Saturday, 3am to 11:30am, and includes working in office and warehouse environments. Prior dispatcher or logistics experience is preferred.

Qualifications

• Minimum one year of transportation or logistics experience.
• High school diploma or GED/equivalent required.

Responsibilities

• Coordinate driver activities and shuttle assignments to resolve service issues and minimize overtime, downtime, and hours of service violations.
• Reassign routes as needed to solve service issues and ensure drivers log in and use the POD scanner.
• Coordinate trailer, tractor, and backhaul assignments to support efficient logistics operations.
• Inspect drivers for proper uniform and PPE compliance.
