Job summary

Goodwill of Central and Northern Arizona in Phoenix, AZ is seeking a Dispatch Clerk to coordinate truck driver assignments for safe, on-time deliveries. You will handle emails and phone calls, maintain records, and support the transportation team.

The role requires at least one year of customer service or dispatch experience, strong communication and organizational skills, and proficiency with MS Office Suite. Starting pay is $22.00 per hour.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, GED or equivalent required.
• One year of customer service or dispatch experience.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Outstanding organizational and time management skills.
• Proficient in MS Office Suite.
• Ability to read and speak English proficiently.
• Ability to pass a background check and drug screen.

Responsibilities

• Dispatches Truck Drivers (CDL and Non-CDL) safely and efficiently.
• Records and maintains files of requests, work, charges, and inventory.
• Coordinates with GCNA divisions and communicates effectively.
• Orders supplies and equipment to team members.
• Maintains day-to-day transportation operations to meet needs.
• Reads and responds to emails from stores with excellent service.
• Communicates equipment defects to fleet services.
• Provides feedback to Transportation Leaders to improve operations.
• Maintains regular in-person attendance.
