Summary of Job Duties:

This is a Part-Time Position. The Early Learning Inclusion Specialist/Linking and Increasing Neurodevelopmental Knowledge (LINK) Mentor will serve as a developmental disability specialist and mentor, supporting children with developmental disabilities in early childhood settings by providing consultation, training, and direct services, and collaborating with stakeholders across the state.

Qualifications:
  • Master's degree in an allied health or pediatric development-related field, with two years of experience in early childhood development, pediatric disorders, and intervention strategies.
  • Licensed or eligible to practice in Arkansas in speech-language pathology, occupational therapy, or a related field.
  • Willingness to travel within the region and maintain flexible hours.
Knowledge, Skills & Abilities:
  • Knowledge of child development, disorders, and relevant laws (e.g., IDEA Parts B and C).
  • Valid driver's license.
  • Attention to detail, multitasking ability, and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office, internet, training, and public speaking.
  • Strong communication skills.
Responsibilities:
  • Provide guidance to stakeholders supporting children with developmental disabilities.
  • Conduct assessments, provide recommendations, and support service gaps.
  • Maintain confidentiality and cultural sensitivity.
  • Participate in training, meetings, and team activities.
  • Conduct training workshops and community presentations.
  • Complete required documentation timely.
  • Perform additional duties as assigned.
