Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Must read, write and speak English.
• One year of general experience working with children; ability to work in a group setting with children/youth.
• Physically able to lift up to 45 pounds and move indoors/outdoors.
• Must be able to pass Tier 1 background investigation and Civilian Medical Clearance every 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Plan and execute early childhood education experiences with varied materials.
• Assist in developing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Maintain a safe program environment and supervise children at all times.
• Prepare, arrange, and maintain indoor/outdoor activity areas and materials.
• Interact with children, parents, and staff in a professional manner.
• Perform routine care giving tasks and maintain required reports.
