Job summary
The Learning Experience is hiring an Assistant Teacher to support classroom leaders in delivering our LEAP Curriculum and ensuring a warm, safe environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.
Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and a passion for early childhood education; ECE coursework is a plus. Health and safety training, immunizations, and state compliance are required.
Qualifications
- High School Diploma or GED required; ECE coursework preferred.
- Prior childcare experience is desirable and state immunization requirements apply.
- Must meet health and safety training and state guidelines.
Responsibilities
- Assist with classroom leadership and creating a welcoming space for children.
- Support curriculum implementation and adaption for infants, toddlers, or preschoolers.
- Maintain safety, supervise activities, and assist with daily care needs.
- Communicate regularly with families about child progress and milestones.
- Collaborate with center staff to support retention, enrollment and engagement.
