Job summary

The Learning Experience is hiring Assistant Teachers to partner with teachers in a nurturing classroom environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers. You will help implement the LEAP Curriculum, ensuring safety and developmentally appropriate activities.

Compensation ranges from $17.00 to $19.00 per hour, with benefits and opportunities for advancement based on experience and qualifications.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required; ECE coursework preferred.
Minimum age 18 and ability to meet state guidelines.
Experience in childcare or a demonstrated passion for early childhood education.
Immunizations and health and safety training as required by state rules.

Responsibilities

Classroom leadership in a welcoming space for infants, toddlers, and/or preschool children.
Support teachers with the proprietary LEAP Curriculum, adapting as needed.
Prioritize safety and a nurturing learning environment.
Regularly communicate with families about progress and milestones.
Collaborate with center staff to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement.
Build warm relationships with families and colleagues to foster learning and play.
