The Learning Experience in New York is seeking an Assistant Teacher to support teachers, implement the L.E.A.P. Curriculum®, and nurture a safe, engaging learning environment for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers.

Applicants should have a High School Diploma or GED, with ECE coursework preferred, and meet state health and safety requirements. The role emphasizes collaboration with families and staff to promote positive development.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ECE coursework preferred.
• Minimum age 18.
• Experience in childcare or a demonstrable passion for early childhood education is preferred.
• Must meet state compliance including immunizations and health and safety training.

Responsibilities

• Classroom leadership with teachers to create a stimulating, welcoming space for children.
• Support implementation of the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® across infants to preschoolers.
• Prioritize safety and a nurturing environment for children.
• Communicate with families about progress via apps and in person.
• Collaborate with center staff to drive retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
