Qualifications

• Strong leadership and communication skills essential for directing a busy early learning center.
• Experience implementing developmentally appropriate curriculum and mentoring staff.
• Must meet South Carolina DSS requirements for a Director/Administrator and CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Oversee daily center operations to ensure a safe, nurturing, and educational environment.
• Maintain compliance with DSS regulations, health, safety standards, and center policies.
• Recruit, train, and supervise teaching and support staff.
• Develop and implement educational programs aligned with early learning best practices.
• Monitor classroom quality and coach teachers to improve outcomes.
• Build strong relationships with families through regular communication and engagement.
• Manage enrollment, budgeting, and administrative tasks efficiently.
