Job summary

Aspire Early Learning Academy in Moncks Corner, SC is seeking an experienced Academy Director to lead daily operations, uphold licensing standards, and drive program excellence for infants through afterschool care.

You will oversee staff development, build strong partnerships with families and the community, and ensure a safe, engaging environment aligned with best practices in early childhood education.

Qualifications

• Requires Associate's degree or higher in ECE or related field.
• Must meet SC DSS requirements for Director/Administrator.
• Minimum 3 years in licensed child care including supervisory role.
• Strong understanding of child development and curriculum implementation.
• Excellent leadership, organizational, and communication skills.
• CPR/First Aid certification or willingness to obtain.

Responsibilities

• Manage and oversee daily center operations to ensure a safe, nurturing, and educational environment.
• Maintain compliance with DSS regulations, health and safety standards, and center policies.
• Recruit, train, and supervise teaching and support the team.
• Develop and implement educational programs aligned with early learning best practices.
• Monitor classroom quality and coach and support teachers.
• Build and maintain strong relationships with families through regular communication and engagement.
• Manage enrollment, budgeting, and administrative tasks efficiently.
• Promote a positive and collaborative workplace culture that supports staff growth and retention.
