About Play, LLC in South Carolina seeks an Early Interventionist to serve families with infants and toddlers birth to six, in Beaufort, Colleton, and Jasper counties. Must reside in SC.
We offer a base salary of $40,000 per year, mileage reimbursement at .45 per mile up to a monthly cap, and generous benefits. The ideal candidate has a Bachelor’s degree and at least 1 year of relevant experience, with on-the-job training provided.
Qualifications
- Bachelor’s Degree in Elementary Education, Early Childhood Education, Child Development, Social Work, Psychology, Sociology, Family & Consumer Science, or related field.
- At least 1 year of documented experience working with children birth to six years old.
- Prior early interventionist experience preferred.
Responsibilities
- Provide family-centered early intervention services to families with infants and toddlers with developmental delays or disabilities.
- Perform family training with the caregiver and child in home, daycare or natural environment.
- Provide training and support to families in child development, parenting, and family functioning.
- Develop and implement strategies to promote the child’s development.
- Monitor progress of child and family.
