Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking a Speech Therapist to provide home-based Early Intervention services for infants and toddlers in California. The role offers flexible scheduling and the opportunity to work in families' homes, daycares, and community settings.

The position requires a California Speech-Language Pathology license, pediatric EI experience, strong communication skills, and the ability to work independently within the family-centered coaching model.

Qualifications

• California Speech Language Pathology license required.
• Pediatric/ Early Intervention experience preferred.
• Home-based service delivery experience preferred.
• Excellent written and oral communication skills.
• Bilingual in Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

• Conduct developmental assessments and provide speech therapy services using the Parent Coaching Model.
• Follow each child’s IFSP and work with the family to develop strategies to help each child reach their goals.
• Utilize family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and skills and to ensure progress is generalized.
• Provide services in the child’s natural environment, in families’ homes, daycare centers and/or other community settings.
• Provide re-assessments and write progress reports (typically bi-annual).
• Maintain confidentiality of information in accordance with HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
