Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking Speech Therapists to deliver Home-Based Early Intervention services for infants, toddlers, and their families. Join a dedicated team providing therapy across birth to three years, with flexible scheduling and supportive professional development.

Responsibilities include conducting developmental assessments, writing progress notes, and collaborating with families using parent coaching. California license required; bilingual Spanish a plus.

Qualifications

  • California Speech Language Pathology license is required.
  • Pediatric Early Intervention experience preferred.
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills for family-centered coaching.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct developmental assessments and provide speech therapy using the Parent Coaching Model (Rush & Sheldon).
  • Follow each child’s IFSP and help families develop strategies to reach developmental goals.
  • Use family-centered parent coaching to build caregivers’ confidence and generalize progress.
  • Provide services in the child’s natural environment (homes, daycares, community settings).
  • Provide reassessments and write progress reports (bi-annual).
  • Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and state/federal regulations.
