Job summary

Sunny Days of California, Inc. is seeking a Speech Therapist to provide home-based Early Intervention services for infants and toddlers and their families in California.

Responsibilities include assessments, IFSP-driven therapy, and family coaching in the child’s natural environment. Join a multidisciplinary team with a focus on flexible schedules, professional development, and support for travel and reports.

Qualifications

  • Pediatric experience in Early Intervention preferred.
  • Home-based service delivery experience required or preferred.
  • Strong clinical and interpersonal skills are essential for family-centered care.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication across diverse families.
  • Bilingual Spanish a plus.

Responsibilities

  • Conduct developmental assessments and provide speech therapy using the Parent Coaching Model.
  • Follow each child’s IFSP and collaborate with families to develop strategies.
  • Use family-centered parent coaching to build caregiver confidence and generalize progress.
  • Provide services in the child’s natural environment (home, daycare, community).
  • Perform re-assessments and write progress reports bi-annual.
  • Maintain confidentiality per HIPAA and State/Federal regulations.
