Genesee Intermediate School District is seeking an Early Intervention Specialist for Early On to provide services to infants and toddlers (birth to age three) and support their families.
Work within a multidisciplinary team using a primary provider model and caregiver coaching, in homes and community settings in line with Michigan Early On and IDEA Part C.

The Early Intervention Specialist for Early On provides early intervention services to infants and toddlers (birth to age three) and their caregivers as part of a multidisciplinary team. This position is open to qualified special education teachers and related service providers (e.g., speech-language pathologists, occupational therapists, physical therapists, social workers).
Services are delivered using a Primary Service Provider and coaching model to support caregiver capacity to address developmental needs within daily routines. Services are provided in natural environments, including homes, childcare, and community settings, in accordance with Michigan Early On and IDEA Part C requirements
Bachelor’s or Master’s Degree and Valid Michigan Teaching Certificate with appropriate Early Childhood Special Education endorsement (ZS or ZN) or willing to obtain or current. Evidence of successful work with infants and toddlers with disabilities, birth-to-three years of age preferred. Valid Michigan licensure in an approved discipline, including:
Pay Range: $48,446 - $94,537 annually, commensurate with experience and qualifications
Work Schedule: 186 days / 7 hours daily
