Job summary

Easterseals Hawaii is seeking a part-time Physical Therapist to support families in early intervention under a Primary Service Provider model. The role emphasizes coaching families, collaborating with a multidisciplinary team, and providing services in natural environments.

The ideal candidate holds a Hawaii PT license, CPR/First Aid, and EI experience, and will work 3–5 days per week on-site, with travel to multiple sites as needed.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Physical Therapy from an accredited program.
• Current Hawaii state Physical Therapy license.
• Current First Aid and CPR certification.
• Minimum 1 year experience in physical therapy; pediatric EI preferred.
• Experience with developmental delays in EI is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Provide PT services in natural environments (home, daycare, community).
• Assess and interpret PT, sensory, and developmental evaluations.
• Collaborate on IFSP development and family outcomes.
• Support DOH-EIS and ESH guidelines in service delivery.
• Coach families using a Primary Service Provider model.
