Job Summary: The Program Manager is responsible for the overall leadership, growth, and operational management of the Early Intervention Program of the Westchester Office. This role oversees internal staff, salaried employees, and independent contractors while ensuring compliance with all company, state, and county policies, procedures, and regulations. The Program Manager is accountable for achieving established financial, quality, compliance, and operational goals, while driving program growth, service excellence, and organizational effectiveness.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Ensure compliance with all company, state, county, and regulatory requirements related to Early Intervention services.
  • Provide leadership and oversight to management and office staff, including hiring, onboarding, performance management, professional development, coaching, and corrective action to support organizational goals and operational excellence.
  • Monitor departmental performance metrics, analyze trends, identify operational challenges, and implement quality improvement initiatives.
  • Prepare reports and analyze operational data for presentation to senior leadership, ensuring timely follow-up on outstanding issues and action items.
  • Lead and implement projects and operational initiatives, ensuring timely and successful completion.
  • Drive performance in key business areas, including expense management, referral growth, revenue generation, and service quality.
  • Ensure therapist productivity and clinical fulfillment align with company expectations and operational goals.
  • Oversee domestic recruitment efforts and approve hiring decisions, compensation offers, and contractor rates for fee-for-service providers and full-time therapists.
  • Oversee the clinical quality of evaluations by monitoring clinical competency, ensuring the validity and accuracy of assessment findings, and maintaining compliance with New York State Early Intervention regulations, county requirements, and company standards.
  • Ensure services are clinically appropriate, evidence-based, and aligned with the individual needs of children and families, while maintaining compliance with applicable regulations and company standards.
  • Perform other duties and responsibilities as assigned.

Education and/or Work Experience Requirements:

  • Candidate must hold a valid NYS Special Education certification or LMSW.
  • Bilingual Spanish strongly preferred
  • 2+ years of office administration, or similar experience
  • Strong Excel skills required (ability to work with data, reports, and trends)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Word, PowerPoint, Outlook)
  • Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
  • Strong attention to detail and follow-up skills
  • Ability to multitask and manage competing priorities
  • Strong relationship-building skills; ability to communicate effectively across all level

Physical Requirements of the Role

  • Must be able to travel to and from assigned work events including but not limited to driving personal vehicle, walking, and/or use of public transportation such as a bus or train.
  • Occasionally ascends/descends stairs going to, while at, or leaving work location or facilities traveled to for work events.
  • Occasionally moving and/or lifting objects at work weighing up to 20 pounds such as files or copy paper.
  • Must be able to remain in a stationary position for prolonged periods of time up to 90% of the work day working on a computer/electronic device.
  • The ability to observe details at close range (within a few feet of the observer).
  • The ability to communicate information and ideas so others will understand. Must be able to exchange accurate information in these situations.

Compensation:Full-time $70,000 - $75,000per hour, overtime required as needed.

Hours:Monday to Friday: 8:30am to 5:00 pm. This is not a remote position.
