Job summary

Criterion Child Enrichment, Inc. seeks an Occupational Therapist to deliver infant-toddler services under an early intervention framework. You will assess development, support families, and coordinate services in home, center, and community settings.

The role emphasizes a parent coaching approach within a trans-disciplinary team, with opportunities for professional growth and competitive benefits.

Qualifications

• Bachelor’s degree in Occupational Therapy from an accredited program.
• Licensure as an Occupational Therapist by MA Board.
• Two years of pediatric experience preferred.
• Strong communication skills in verbal and written form.
• Proficient with Word, Excel, Adobe and Office 365 suite.

Responsibilities

• Demonstrate knowledge and understanding of all areas of infant-toddler development.
• Utilize a parent coaching model in work with families.
• Participate in screenings, assessments, child groups, parent groups, center visits, and home visits as a member of a trans-disciplinary team.
• Provide home-based services to families across the catchment area.
• Collaborate with community providers to ensure continuity of services for families including child care providers, medical providers, social service agencies, and specialty providers serving children with autism or hearing/vision loss.
• Provide service coordination to assigned caseload including coordinating the development, monitoring, and review of the Individual Family Service Plan.

• Current licensure as an Occupational Therapist by the Massachusetts Board of Registration in Allied Professional Health.
• Two (2) years of pediatric experience preferred
• Effective verbal and written communication skills.
• Working knowledge of Word, Excel, Adobe, and Office365 including Outlook, OneDrive, and Teams.
• Ability to use computer-based technology including a computer/laptop and cell phone
• Valid driver’s license and reliable transportation is required.
