Position Summary: The Early Intervention Mentor serves as a year-round behavioral support leader, providing expert coaching, planning, and professional development to strengthen school-based capacity in behavior intervention. This role supports the implementation of standardized Functional Behavioral Assessments (FBA) and Behavior Intervention Plans (BIP), while guiding teams in trauma-informed, culturally responsive practices. The Early Intervention Mentor helps ensure students’ behavioral needs are met proactively and equitably, reducing lost instructional time and improving outcomes districtwide.
