Job summary

Easterseals Southern California is seeking a role supporting Early Head Start/Home Base services in California. You will help develop IFSP/IEP plans, track progress, and work with families and staff on developmental needs.

The position requires a bachelor’s degree in a related field and pediatric CPR/First Aid certification, with opportunities to lead trainings and participate in meetings.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in Psychology, Child Development or Special Education.
• Infant-toddler class completed with B grade or better.
• Pediatric CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide and ensure compliance within the Early Head Start Home Base services.
• Develop, maintain and track all IFSP and IEP, progress reports and records with Head Start standards.
• Collaborate with staff and parents on issues related to development and behavior.
• Conduct on-site behavioral screenings within 45 days of enrollment.
• Identify community resources and secure MOUs with agencies.
• Assist in staff trainings on early intervention topics.
• Attend IFSP/IEP meetings as directed.
• Perform other assignments as needed.
