Qualifications

  • Master’s degree in education (early childhood or special education), pediatric nursing, psychology, social work, or related field.
  • Two years of professional experience with infants/toddlers and families or administration of a related service delivery program.
  • Or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field plus five years of relevant experience.

Responsibilities

  • Ensure implementation of federal, state and local guidelines for Babies Can’t Wait in the 10-county district.
  • Manage fiscal, personnel and other resources to ensure program compliance and quality services.
  • Seek creative solutions to reduce access barriers and coordinate across public and private partners.
  • Conduct ongoing quality assurance and improvement based on data and program reporting.
  • Recruit qualified professionals and support linking to statewide contracting for providers.
  • Review financial reports, authorize expenditures, monitor budgets, and participate in audits.
