Job summary

YMCA of Greater Seattle in Woodinville is seeking a Center Director, Early Learning to lead day-to-day operations of an early education center. The role focuses on equity, youth development, and program quality under CoE guidance, with supervision of staff, budget oversight, and community engagement.

This full-time exempt position requires leadership across multiple programs, strong communication, and a commitment to inclusive practices.

Qualifications

• Minimum 45 college credits in Early Childhood Education (ECE) or related field.
• Three years or more of experience working with children kindergarten aged and younger.
• Two years or more of supervisory experience.

Responsibilities

• Direct the development and operations of assigned early education center(s), including enrollment goals and market assessment.
• Maintain required staff/child ratios and supervise staff and volunteers; conduct staff meetings and trainings.
• Develop and manage budgets related to the position; monitor revenue and expenses to meet targets.
• Hire, train, supervise, and evaluate staff; ensure ongoing education and professional development.
• Ensure safety, quality programming, and adherence to DCYF standards and center policies.
