The role emphasizes developmentally appropriate activities, regular observations, family engagement, and accurate record-keeping to support each child’s growth and success.

Formación

• Associate’s Degree in Education is required; Early Childhood Education is preferred.
• 1 year of classroom experience is preferred.
• Experience with populations facing homelessness, substance use, or mental health challenges is a plus.
• Strong problem-solving skills are required.
• Effective oral and written communication skills are essential.
• Ability to interact with people of varying ages and cultural backgrounds.
• Solid computer skills are expected.

Responsabilidades

• Plans lessons and creates activities using Creative Curriculum to prepare children for kindergarten readiness.
• Documents progress with regular observations and Work Sampling data.
• Maintains daily records including attendance and meal counts.
• Establishes positive relationships with families and involves parents in Center activities.
• Collaborates with CDT and staff to implement Center plans and enrichment activities.
• Participates in staff meetings and special events as needed.
