Job summary

NC Department of Health and Human Services seeks contract resources to support training implementation of Child Welfare training modules for CWIS. Responsibilities include analyzing functionality, developing classroom and eLearning solutions, and maintaining training materials for adult learners.

The role involves collaboration with Training Lead, Agile and Development teams, and delivering effective classroom and virtual facilitation across state staff.

Qualifications

• Experience in curriculum design and developing training materials for adult learners.
• Understands social services programs that drive county, regional, and state staff.
• Research and evaluate NC FAST case management software to translate functionality into learning materials.
• Assist with scheduling and QA checks on training materials.
• Collaborate with training developers, subject matter experts, and technical support to ensure training effectiveness.
• Experience in MS Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
• Experience in LMS technology such as Moodle, XML, HTML.
• Designing and delivering computer-based training and instructional design systems.
• Experience with Adobe FrameMaker, Captivate, Camtasia, Photoshop, Visio.
• Develop interactive training materials with simulations and dynamic content.
• Develop interactive media presentations for online experience.
• Lead training sessions in person, virtual, or webinar formats.
• Knowledge of NC FAST and Medicaid Program in NC (highly desired).

Responsibilities

• Analyze CWIS functionality to develop and deliver classroom facilitator-led learning and eLearning.
• Create and maintain Adobe FrameMaker templates and scripts.
• Design training materials and revise training content for adult learners.
• Facilitate classroom and virtual trainings for staff across levels.
• Coordinate with Training Lead, Business and Agile teams and Development Team.
• Support scheduling, QA checks, and participate in quality assurance on training materials.
• Provide feedback on curriculum and training methodologies to ensure relevance and comprehension.
• Prepare for and conduct classroom training, including facility management, course scheduling, and student registration.
• Travel up to 30% of time; expenses reimbursed per state protocol.
