Job summary

Easterseals Florida is seeking an Early Childhood Educator Assistant Teacher (Floater) to join our team at The School for Limitless Learning. The role supports the lead teacher, helps implement play-based curriculum, and creates a nurturing environment for neurodiverse children.

Hours are 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with compensation at $18.00 per hour plus generous benefits including medical, dental and vision, paid time off, and retirement planning.

Qualifications

  • National Early Childhood Credential (CDA/NECC) preferred.
  • Florida 45-hour Child Care Training in early childhood education.
  • Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

  • Provide a positive, safe, stimulating, and inclusionary learning environment.
  • Assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
  • Assist in recognizing, adapting teaching strategies, and addressing the individual needs of each child.
  • Collaborate with the lead educator to maintain open and effective communication with parents and families.
