Job summary

Easterseals Florida, Inc. is hiring an Assistant Teacher (Floater) at The School for Limitless Learning. The role supports an inclusive play-based program for neurodiverse children, under supervision of the lead educator.

Hours are 8:00 am to 5:30 pm, Monday through Friday, with a pay rate of $18 per hour. The position emphasizes creating a nurturing classroom, assisting with curriculum delivery, and communicating with families.

Qualifications

• National Early Childhood Credential (CDA/NECC) preferred.
• Florida Department of Children & Families 45-hour Child Care Training in early childhood education.
• Current CPR and First Aid certification.

Responsibilities

• Provide a positive, safe, stimulating, and inclusionary learning environment.
• Assist in implementing age-appropriate curriculum and activities.
• Assist in recognizing, adapting teaching strategies, and addressing the individual needs of each child.
• Collaborate with the lead educator to maintain open and effective communication with parents and families.

Education

National Early Childhood Credential (CDA/NECC) preferred

Florida 45-hour Child Care Training in early childhood education

CPR and First Aid certification
