Save the Children in Pineville, LA, is seeking an Early Childhood and Development Coach to provide early childhood technical assistance, training and oversight for Head Start/Early Head Start programs. You will support staff through coaching, ensure curriculum implementation and monitor progress to meet program objectives.

You will work with the Manager, Education and Inclusion and Program Director to resolve complex issues, ensure alignment with Head Start standards, and promote high-quality

Qualifikationen

• Bachelor's degree in early childhood education with teaching experience and at least two years of relevant experience.
• Experience with infants/toddlers and/or preschool children.
• Experience in supervision and training.
• Ability to develop strong, supportive relationships with very young children.
• Experience using assessment data to drive coaching toward program goals.
• Knowledge of Head Start Program Performance Standards.
• Proficiency in spoken and written English.
• Ability to communicate and collaborate with staff at all levels.
• Strong interpersonal, communication and organizational skills.
• Ability to follow directions and take initiative.
• Ability to keep information confidential.
• Bilingual preferred (English/Spanish or other languages).
• Birth-Kindergarten licensure preferred in North Carolina.

Aufgaben

• Provide training and technical assistance to classroom staff to ensure high-quality programming.
• Monitor child and teacher progress to meet program objectives.
• Consult with Program Director and Managers to resolve complex issues and ensure compliance with standards.
• Coach education staff through observation, feedback and modeling of practices.
• Support staff with professional development aligned to program performance goals.
• Establish policies to ensure fair assessment use and staff improvement.
• Maintain ongoing communication with program leadership and staff.
• Ensure adequate classroom supplies and age-appropriate schedules.
• Attend home visits, conferences and IEP/IFSP meetings as needed.
• Conduct regular classroom visits (4-6 hours per site) for observations and coaching.
• Develop PITC integration into curriculum and support English learners and families.
