Job summary

IDEA Public Schools is seeking an Early Childhood Co-Teacher to support Tier 1 instruction for Prekindergarten to Grade 2 under the direction of the lead teacher. You will facilitate small-group learning, provide academic, behavioral, and social-emotional supports, and help create joyful, engaging classrooms where all students thrive.

As part of a collaborative team, you will assist in implementing core instruction, monitor student progress, and participate in planning with teachers.

Qualifications

• Knowledge of early childhood development and instructional practices.
• Ability to support whole-group, small-group, and individual learning.
• Ability to adapt to diverse learner needs and to manage classroom behavior.

Responsibilities

• Assist in the educational development of students under lead teacher guidance.
• Support Tier 1 core instruction and small-group intervention.
• Monitor progress and communicate with families weekly.
