Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking Assistant Teachers to join our team in New Jersey. You will partner with teachers to create a stimulating, welcoming space for infants, toddlers, and preschoolers while implementing our LEAP Curriculum®.

You will also support safety protocols, family updates, and collaboration with center staff to drive enrollment and engagement. Ideal candidates have a High School Diploma or GED and a passion for early childhood education; ECE coursework is a plus.

Qualifications

High School Diploma or GED required.
ECE coursework preferred but not required.
Minimum age 18 years.
Must meet state childcare guidelines and immunization requirements.

Responsibilities

Lead and support a classroom that is welcoming, safe, and educational.
Assist with implementing the LEAP Curriculum® for infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers.
Prioritize child safety and well-being at all times.
Maintain regular communication with families about child progress and milestones.
Collaborate with center staff to support enrollment, retention, and engagement goals.
Build warm relationships with families and colleagues to foster learning through play.
