The Learning Experience in Paterson, NJ is seeking an Assistant Teacher who will partner with lead teachers to create a welcoming, stimulating classroom where children can play, learn, and grow. You will support the L.E.A.P.

Qualifications

• Educational background: High School Diploma or GED required.
• ECE coursework preferred.
• Minimum age 18.
• State compliance and health & safety training requirements must be met.

Responsabilités

• Classroom Leadership: Partner with teachers to create a stimulating, welcoming space for children to play, learn, and grow.
• Curriculum Implementation: Support the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® and adapt activities for Infants, Toddlers, and/or Preschoolers.
• Safety First: Maintain a safe, nurturing environment for children.
• Family Communication: Update parents on progress and milestones using apps and in-person discussions.
• Center Collaboration: Work with center staff to drive retention, enrollment and engagement goals.
• Relationship Builder: Foster warm relationships with families and colleagues.
