Job summary

The Learning Experience is seeking an Assistant Teacher to join our dedicated team. You will help create a joyful, educational environment where children can play, learn, and grow under the guidance of lead teachers.

You will support curriculum delivery, maintain safety standards, and communicate regularly with families to share progress and milestones. A passion for early childhood education is essential.

Qualifications

• Educational background: High School Diploma/GED required. ECE coursework preferred.
• Minimum age: at least 18 years old.
• Experience: preferred in childcare or a demonstrated passion for early childhood education.

Responsibilities

• Classroom Leadership: collaborate with teachers to maintain a stimulating, welcoming space for children.
• Curriculum Implementation: support teachers in applying the L.E.A.P. Curriculum® for infants, toddlers, and/or preschoolers.
• Safety First: maintain a safe, nurturing environment for children to thrive.
• Family Communication: update parents on progress via apps and in-person discussions.
• Center Collaboration: work with staff to support retention, enrollment, and engagement goals.
• Relationship Building: foster warm relationships with families and colleagues.
