Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking an early‑career Mechanical Design Engineer to join a growing engineering team. You will design components, refine CAD models, and support from concept through production, collaborating with engineering, manufacturing, quality, sales, and customers to meet performance and safety standards.

You’ll engage in product development, testing, and documentation while solving practical problems and applying DFMEA, GD&T, and tolerance analysis in a regulated environment.

Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree in engineering or related technical field; equivalent experience considered.
• 1–5 years of design engineering or product development experience.
• Ability to read and interpret engineering drawings and blueprints.
• Experience using CAD software for design and development.
• Understanding of GD&T, DFA, DFMEA, and tolerance stack analysis.
• Knowledge of materials, manufacturing processes, and regulatory requirements.
• Strong analytical, communication, and time-management skills.
• Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a team.

Responsibilities

• Design and develop new components, assemblies, and manufacturing processes per requirements.
• Create and refine CAD models, drawings, and product documentation.
• Support product development, validation, and production launches.
• Collaborate with Manufacturing Engineering to resolve design and assembly issues.
• Review reports and propose design changes to meet specs.
• Develop and maintain DVP&Rs aligned with DFMEA and standards.
• Coordinate with test labs and support testing/validation activities.
• Assist with technical presentations, customer meetings, and product reviews.
• Support engineering changes and continuous improvement initiatives.
• Stay current on new technologies, materials, and industry developments.
