• Excellent written and verbal communication skills and ability to prepare design documentation.

Responsibilities

• Perform hardware engineering activities within a team of Mechanical, Electrical, and Software Engineers.
• Develop imaginative, thorough, practicable technical solutions to difficult Mechanical Engineering problems.
• Contribute to concept development with prototyping, production, and test support.
• Perform detailed design of mechanical structures using solid modeling, analysis, drafting, and tolerance analysis.
• Prepare high-quality engineering documentation including drawings, specifications, and test reports.
• Support proposal activity with input to cost estimates and risk assessments.
• Brief peers, management, and customers on design considerations and program status.
