Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to help imagine, develop, and improve mechanical solutions for OEMs across marine and automotive sectors. You will design and modify assemblies, and actively participate in customer and supplier design discussions.

Ideal candidates have a BS/MS in Mechanical Engineering with 5–15 years of new product design experience and hands-on problem-solving abilities, plus strong communication skills. Competitive benefits offered.

Qualifications

• BS or MS in Mechanical Engineering.
• 5 to 15 years of experience in new product design and development.
• Proven experience in mechanical design of equipment parts/automation using SolidWorks or similar CAD software.
• Familiar with CNC machining and Additive machining technology, and their limitations.
• Must be hands on and comfortable finding creative solutions to design challenges.
• Excellent communication skills – both verbal and written - and enjoy collaborating with others to solve problems.

Responsibilities

• Develop, design, and implement mechanical solutions including, but not limited to, new product development while managing constraints in space, time, cost, manufacturing, structural integrity.
• Able to design and modify mechanical assemblies.
• Actively participate in design discussions with customers and supplier conversations.
