Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR is seeking a Design Engineer to provide technical support and lead engineering projects within mechanical equipment design. The role involves creating 3D models, supporting multiple departments, and traveling to facilities as needed.

The candidate will collaborate with global teams, contribute to product documentation standards, and participate in new product launches from concept to regional engineering. Strong CAD skills and HVAC knowledge are essential.

Qualifications

• Bachelor Degree in Engineering.
• 3-5 years of experience with Mechanical Equipment Design.
• Proficiency in 3D modeling software.
• HVAC/Refrigeration system knowledge.
• Advanced Excel skills.
• Sheet metal design knowledge.
• DFMA (design for manufacturing & assembly).
• Strong communication skills.
• Experience: Inventor, Vault, ERP systems, Configurator.

Responsibilities

• Provide guidance on product configuration and documentation structure and development.
• Provide technical support for Marketing- Applications and Sales, Manufacturing, and Operational Excellence departments.
• Provide technical support for BAC manufacturing plants for product orders with special customer requests.
• Create 3D models of parts/assemblies and supporting drawings.
• Collaborate with Global and Regional Engineering Teams to enable continuous improvement of existing product lines.
• Participate in new product launch design transitions from concept to Regional Engineering.
• Participate in product testing, data acquisition, and analysis.
• Travel periodically to BAC manufacturing facilities or jobsites to resolve design issues.
• Research and create design proposals for projects.
• Help define best practice rules for documentation to promote standardization.
