Energy Jobline ZR in Lansing, MI seeks a Mechanical Engineer to design machine tooling and integrate machine tools into our next generation equipment. You will handle design and analysis from concept through production, delivering robust components and assemblies.

You will own the mechanical scope on projects, coordinate with Controls, Manufacturing and Sales, estimate hours and budgets, and support startups and customer installations.

Formación

• B.S. in Mechanical Engineering.
• 3–5 years’ experience in machine tools or related industry.
• Proficiency with 3D CAD software (SolidWorks) and working knowledge of AutoCAD.
• Strong analytical and problem solving skills.
• Willing to travel 10–15% domestically and internationally.
• Excellent communication skills.

Responsabilidades

• Design and develop mechanical systems, tooling, components, and assemblies for microfinishing machines.
• Create and maintain 3D models, drawings, BOMs, part numbers, and related information.
• Own the mechanical scope of projects, estimate hours, manage schedules and budget.
• Coordinate mechanical requirements with Controls Engineering, Manufacturing, Sales, and other teams.
• Provide technical support during startup, service, and customer meetings.
• Prepare documentation for customer review, approval, shipment, and acceptance.
