Job summary

Energy Jobline ZR in Texas is seeking a Mechanical Engineer to own the mechanical design on projects, guiding and coordinating the mechanical team, and ensuring the design integrates across disciplines and with clients.

You will prepare design documents, track progress to meet deadlines, support QA/QC, and collaborate with project managers to align staffing and budgets while maintaining quality and safety standards.

Qualifications

• Licensed Professional Engineer (PE) required.
• Ability to coordinate with clients and multiple disciplines.
• Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
• Ability to manage design tasks to meet deadlines.
• Must be able to carry up to 50 lbs of drawings.

Responsibilities

• Prepare design documents in accordance with company standards.
• Monitor project status and development to meet project deadlines.
• Coordinate the completion of documents for QA/QC review prior to deadlines.
• Coordinate staffing manpower needs weekly with the Project Manager.
• Review mechanical budget hours and coordinate adjustments with the Project Manager.
• Work with team mechanical staff to identify tasks and assign staffing.
• Coordinate with the Project Manager to manage manpower and budget.
