Job summary

ETS is seeking an E&I Technician for an in-person role. The position involves calibrating, maintaining, and documenting instrumentation systems, and troubleshooting plant control systems to ensure optimal operation.

You will review system drawings and P&IDs, operate PLC interface devices, and write/debug PLC programs to support automation. The job requires a high school diploma or GED, with an Associate’s in Electrical Engineering Technology preferred, and the ability to work in an industrial

Qualifications

• Requires HS diploma or GED; Associate degree preferred.
• Proficient in PLC programming, calibration, and control-system maintenance.
• Able to read and interpret technical docs including drawings and logic diagrams.
• Strong troubleshooting skills for electrical, mechanical, and automation systems.
• Physical ability to lift up to 55 pounds, stand long periods in an industrial setting.
• Follow safety protocols and regulatory guidelines.

Responsibilities

• Calibrate, maintain, and document instrumentation systems.
• Install, repair, and troubleshoot plant control systems and equipment for optimal operation.
• Review system drawings, P&IDs, and manuals for maintenance and troubleshooting.
• Operate interface devices for PLCs and computers for program changes and diagnostics.
• Write and debug PLC programs to support plant automation.
• Document work performed per standard operating procedures.
