Job summary

Georgia-Pacific ARC in Perdue Hill, AL, seeks an E&I Technician to support electrical/instrumentation maintenance, planning, procurement, and documentation. You will work with Supervisors and Operations, and participate in on-call rotations for emergencies and off-shift needs.

The role starts at $38.35+ per hour, with a 6:00am–2:30pm schedule, Monday–Friday. Occasional overtime, holidays, and weekends may be required to keep the mill running smoothly.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED.
• Minimum of six years of electrical experience in industrial manufacturing or the military.
• Troubleshoot electrical controls, instrumentation, motors, power distribution and drives.
• Understand drawings and schematics for installation or troubleshooting.

Responsibilities

• Perform electrical maintenance tasks for the maintenance workload.
• Execute preventive and corrective maintenance work orders.
• Monitor equipment for electrical maintenance deficiencies.
• Maintain clean and safe work environment.
• Maintain and troubleshoot PLCs, instrumentation and controls.
