Job summary

FCC Environmental Services, LLC is seeking an Electrical and Instrumentation Technician to install, troubleshoot, calibrate, and maintain electrical and instrumentation systems in a safe, professional manner. The role requires 4+ years in industrial E&I maintenance and experience with switchgear, MCCs, and DCS, along with necessary licenses.

The position involves on-call coverage, shift work, and operating equipment such as cranes, forklifts, and other plant systems in a demanding

Qualifications

High school diploma or GED or equivalent.
4+ years’ experience in industrial or power industry E&I maintenance.
Or 2+ years as a 3rd class E&I Technician with instrumentation training.
Licenses as required by state/federal agencies.

Responsibilities

Perform electrical preventive, repair, and calibration maintenance safely and professionally with minimal supervision.
Troubleshoot and maintain low/medium voltage switchgear, MCCs, transformers; high voltage equipment.
Maintain energy-from-waste boilers and related equipment (pumps, fans, motors, conveyors, cranes).
Troubleshoot CEMS and process instrumentation (transmitters, level, temperature, gas analysis).
Operate DCS and historian devices, calibrate and tune controls.
Document work orders and safety procedures; respond to on-call emergencies.
Operate other plant equipment (forklifts, lifts) as needed.
