Job summary

South Bow Corp. is seeking an Electrical, Instrumentation and Controls (EIC) Technician to support safe operation of facilities by performing maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repairs on electrical and instrumentation systems under guidance from senior technicians.

This early-career role provides hands-on experience with field instrumentation, electrical equipment, and industrial controls in a regulated, safety-critical environment, with a path to growth within the EIC discipline

Qualifications

Journeyperson certification or in-progress apprenticeship in instrumentation or electrical trade.
0–3 years of relevant industrial maintenance experience preferred.
Knowledge of instrumentation transmitters, control valves, and basic loop checks.
Familiarity with safety practices (LOTO, hazardous area awareness) and permits.

Responsibilities

Perform maintenance, inspections, troubleshooting, and repair on electrical and instrumentation systems.
Support calibration checks and loop verification activities following documented methods.
Assist with basic control system tasks (I/O verification, signal checks, functional tests).
Create, update, and close work orders in SAP/Maximo with accurate notes and parts usage.
Work with Operations, Maintenance, Engineering and contractors for safe isolation and turnaround activities.
Travel to sites as required and participate in on-call rotations.
