Job summary

Hargrove is seeking an Electrical & Instrumentation Engineer to perform complete electrical and instrumentation designs for varied projects in a Beaumont area office. The role emphasizes NEC compliance, coordination with cross-disciplinary teams, and providing field support during startup.

Ideal candidates bring a bachelor’s or master’s degree in electrical engineering, 3+ years of relevant experience, and PE registration is preferred.

Qualifications

• Bachelor or Master of Science in Electrical Engineering from an accredited university.
• Professional Engineering registration is highly preferred.
• Requires 3+ years of relevant industrial electrical/instrumentation experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform complete electrical and instrumentation designs under supervision.
• Produce design calculations and sketches for materials of construction.
• Check calculations for NEC compliance and project criteria.
• Assist drafting with layout issues and provide sketches for drawings.
• Develop construction specifications and review vendor drawings and submittals.
• Provide field support during startup and field data collection.
